Updated June 1, 2022, Stage Door Theatre is maintaining our mandatory “Vaccination OR Negative Test within 48 hours of the performance” policy for all audience members, actors, technicians, and Stage Door Theatre staff for all events and performances (with the right to maintain, revise or eliminate this policy as local COVID-19 conditions change). The safety of our patrons, artists, staff and volunteers is Stage Door Theatre’s top priority. Due to rising cases, variants, and complications of COVID-19 in Georgia, audience members must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend the performance and will be asked to show proof of vaccination upon arrival at the theater. “Fully vaccinated” means the performance date you are attending must be at least 14 days after your last dose of an FDA or WHO authorized COVID-19 vaccine.
The only exceptions to the above mandatory vaccination policy will be for guests under the age of 5, or those who need reasonable accommodations due to a medical condition or sincerely held religious belief that prevents vaccination.
Proof of vaccination (or negative test result) must come directly from the healthcare provider that performed the vaccination (or test). Guests can show proof of vaccination by presenting a physical vaccination card, a photo of a physical card or negative test, or a digital confirmation of vaccination of a negative test. Photo evidence must have names, dates, and other pertinent information clearly readable.
In addition to the mandatory vaccination policy, Stage Door Theatre will also have the following safety measures in place:
- Temperature Checks – Will be administered before patrons are allowed into the Theatre.
- Reduced contact – We will be utilizing lists instead of printed tickets and staff will be equipped with masks and gloves
- Sanitizing – There will be enhanced and frequent cleaning of high-traffic surfaces, as well as more hand sanitizing stations across the building.
- Training – Stage Door is providing key staff members with training to become certified COVID Compliance Officers. Their knowledge will serve to guide and maintain the safety standards of the theatre.
